Championship leading driver, Charlie Shears took his US Builders DP02 into the lead and won a convincing victory in today's Cooper Tires Prototype Lites race at Mosport Park, Ontario, Canada. Teammate Gary Gibson took 2nd for CORE autosport driving his Perfect Pedal DP02. Jonathan Bennett finished 6th in the Composite Resources DP02. With both the driver's and the team championship on the line it was a close battle with the Downs brothers from Eurosport racing.
There were no red flags and overall it was clean, close racing around the famous Mosport track. It was a great day for CORE autosport.
