Inspire Driver Gary Gibson in "Wire to Wire" Victory at Lime Rock

Gary Gibson driving the Inspire Motorsports/Perfect Pedal DP02 dominated the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites weekend at Lime Rock, CT earning the Pole Position and Winning the race from flag to flag.

In a near repeat of the starting accident in Utah, Gary's teammate Jonathan Bennett flew above the other cars after launching off of the back of third Inspire Driver Charlie Shears. As the field came into the first turn and landed hard on the brakes, Bennett was going faster and launched over Shears car and ended up in the tire barrier. No drivers were hurt and Charlie continued on with a broken wing, but managed to set the fasted lap and fight back to take 9th place and some important points.

Charlie Shears still leads the driver championship and Inspire Motorsports is battling with Eurosport for the team championship. The next race will be at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI.
