Charlie Shears may have lost second place in the second round of the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites championship in New Jersey this morning, but he still earned his second podium of the weekend after winning yesterday's first round. Jonathan Bennett hung on to 6th place after finishing second yesterday and adding to his championship points and adding to Inspire Motorsports points total for the season.
Matt Downs won today's race with Anthony Nicolosi charging through the field to take second in the last few laps from Charlie Shears. Frankie Montecalvo held on to fourth and Matt's brother Antonio finished fifth.
The new Inspire Motorsports Team ended the weekend with a first, second, third and sixth in the two races!
